Eligibility: Admission to B.A. (1st Sem) shall be open to a person who has passed:
10+2 examination of Punjab School Education Board, Mohalli, C.B.S.E. Delhi, ICSE Delhi or any other examination recognised by Panjab University, Chandigarh as equivalent thereto.

Elective Subjects : A student is required to take up three subjects in all, selecting not more than one subject from any of the following set of combinations.
Subjects to the following conditions:Only one language out of the four can be opted.
Eligibility : Pass in minimum 50% papers of B.A. 1st & 2nd Semester of Panjab University, Chandigarh. Students who have passed the said examination from any other university must fulfill specific requirements laid down by the university.
Eligibility : Pass in B.A. 2 of Panjab University, Chandigarh. Students who have passed the said examination from any other university must fulfill specific requirements laid down by the university.
The course of study will be the same as offered by the students of B.A 1 & 2 semester as no change in subjects is allowed in B.A. 3rd sem & B.A. 3 class as per university rules.

Admission to the first year of B.Com (General) degree course shall be open to a person who has passed one of the following examinations conducted by a recogised Board/Council/University.
+2 examination with three of the following subjects securing at least 40% marks in the aggregate :-
Commerce, Accountancy, Economics, Mathematics, Banking and Trade, Commercial Geography, Office management and Secretarial Practice (or Office oraganisation and Management) Mercantile Law (or any company Law) Auditing, Type Writing and Stenography / Computer (for typewriting) OR
Any +2 examination under vocational stream from commerce discipline having weightage of three papers.
+2 examination of B.A. Part 1 (Old Scheme) of Panjab University with at least two of the subject mentioned in (a) securing at least 45% marks in aggregate.
+2 examination of B.A. Part 1 / Pre-Engineering / Pre-Medical Examination of the Panjab University end under the old scheme not covered (b) securing at least 50% marks.
Any other examination recognized by the university as equivalent to (a) or (b) or (c) as given under each clause. Provided that candidate seeking admission to the first year of B.Com should have passed in the subject of English at the +2 examination.
Eligibility for adimission :
10 + 2 in any stream with 50% marks, 45% marks for SC, BC students.
